The ECITB is the employer-led skills body for the Engineering Construction Industry in Great Britain.
Summary: The ECITB Scholarship programme provides an excellent platform for learners to start their careers in engineering, with the scholarship programme being a key stepping stone to further apprenticeships, learning or employment.
This is a part-time, off-the-job engineering programme designed to help you build real industrial skills, gain valuable knowledge, and achieve an industry-recognised qualification, along with a CCNSG Safety Passport.
This 37 week course provides learners with the opportunity to gain a Level 2 qualification in Pipefitting, learning and working in the same environment as our Welding, Pipefitting and Metal Fabrication Apprentices, as well as from the same expert tutors.
Training to be provided The course follows a 37 week programme, September - July spent at CATCH in Stallingborough. This would be 3 days a week 8.00am – 4:00pm.
Required Qualifications: Applicants will need a minimum of English and Mathematics GCSEs at A*-C (9-4) Grades.
Benefits: Successful completion of the course could lead to a level 3 apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.
You will have developed a variety of interchangeable skills and have an in depth understanding of pipefitting and industry.
Salary: £60 a week bursary payment subject to attendance.
